Tiny Cute Cake

Ingredients:  Marmellata albicocche / Apricot Jam                                                   

120 gr Butter (soften)

120 gr Sugar

120 gr Flour

2 Eggs

Jam (any type)

Sugar grains


Recipe: In a bowl mix the soften butter with the sugar. Then add the eggs, the flour, and a pinch of salt. Fill the cake pan with the mixture, add the jam on the top and sprinkle the sugar grains all over. Put it in the oven (180 degrees) for ca 25 minutes.

Trick or Treat: Use a small cake pan. Mine is 7 cm deep and only 16 cm wide, just perfect!

Dedicated to: To A, my first love and my first kiss. He was as sweet as this tiny, simple and tasty cake. He had a teddy bear shy look and, with him, I spent 51 fantastic days… and at that time (the Shaggy, Take That, and Scatman’s time…) 51 days were a real achievement! Everything started beneath the starry vault of heaven next to a colourful Vespa, imagine: he says “The most beautiful star is you” then he takes my hand and he asks “If 1 + 1 equals 2, how much is Eva + A?”. I don’t answer, I look down and I let him kiss me. Ooooh, men like A don’t exist anymore!
